The internet is jam packed with a whole host of useful tips and tricks in order to help you sprout out and maintain a glorious beard. During my time with 'The Beard Struggle' I've created several easy to follow guides giving you helpful pointers and suggestions from improving you beard thickness to help stopping those dreaded split ends from forming. Well, today I've created another easy to follow guide giving you a few simple tips to help your beard look at it's absolute best. Here are 4 Simple To Follow Tips To Help Optimize Your Beard...

GROW A BEARD THAT BEST SUITS YOUR FACES SHAPE AND STRUCTURE!

There are many beard styles out today, from the stubble look to a full on lumberjack looking beard. But sometimes it's good to have an idea on what beard style best suits your faces structure. Be sure to find a style that compliments the shape of your face, the best way to find out what works for you is a simple Google image search. Do your homework on various styles and figure what will work for you. Your beard will look so much better for it, and in turn so will you too.

WASH OFTEN AND APPLY PLENTY OF ENHANCEMENT PRODUCTS TOO!

If you're a regular reader of my beard blog then you are likely to have heard me chirping on about the importance of keeping that beard clean (but not over washing!) as well as applying generous amounts of high quality beard balms and oils depending on your preferences. The reason such subjects often become repeated in my work is simply because they're very much a key point to your beards health and success. For example, if you choose to not wash your beard or wash it with the wrong kind of products you'll soon see the impact in doing so. As you're highly likely to dry out your beard causing ugly damaged weakening spots within your beard. Using the right products in the right way will have you growing a rather epic beard in next to no time. Trust me, you'll thank me for it later.

YOUR MUSTACHE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE BEARD!

It's real easy to overlook the due care and attention your tash' needs and deserves when you're so focused on your beards length, shape and well being. But taking the time to care for your mustache is just as important as any other part of your beard. If you're growing out a longer 'handlebar' style tash' then be sure to begin training the growth direction of that area as soon as possible. This can be done with a good quality comb and a little oil. Once you've got some thickness below your nose you can begin to sculpt it's shape fairly easily which will add a better over all look to your facial forest. If you're keeping the tash' somewhat shorter and more maintained then I suggest you keep the hair trimming level just above the upper lip line. This will display a neat mustache and will also eliminate your chances of accidentally getting your beard in your mouth when it comes to eating certain foods too.

EAT RIGHT, STAY HEALTHY AND BE HAPPY!

This is a pointer I should take onboard more myself as I'm a total sucker for pepperoni and pineapple pizza (Cus' PIZZA IS LIFE!!), but keeping yourself in good health will always contribute to a healthier beard. Your beard relies on vital vitamins that are sourced from a wide variety of the foods and supplements you digest. So choosing the right stuff to put inside your stomach can further improve your beards health and growth rate. So in short, walk more often over catching the bus or taking the car as and when possible. Eat more fruits and veggies when you can. Introduce health supplements such as protein shakes as part of a better balanced diet.
